Ibiza is the third-largest and the westernmost of the Balearic islands. It lies between the 38º 50' 40" and 39º 06' 22" parallels and 1º 17' 27" and 1º 37' 48" meridians. It is 82 km from Mallorca, 97 km from Cabo de Nao in Alicante, and 138 nautical miles from Algeria in Africa, although the closest island is Formentera. This island is only a few miles away and much smaller, but is another Mediterranean paradise. It is a must to visit during your stay in the centre of San Antonio.

Visiting Ibiza is easy, as there are daily connections from Palma de Mallorca, Formentera, Barcelona, Denia and Valencia by boat, and from Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Alicante by private yacht; you can moor in several sailing clubs or some of the natural harbours (coves protected from the wind).

Ibiza has a large amount of accommodation: hotels, apartments, hostels, rural hotels, houses, etc. You can get around the island by public transport (taxi and bus) or various types of hire vehicle (cars, motorcycles and boats).
